I dealt with Manesh of Oyster properties who has demonstrated an impressive level of competence and professionalism in the areas that should matter to anyone trying to sell their property especially in challenging market conditions. I was trying to sell a 2 bed flat in North London, and after talking to Manesh and some other national agents, I originally fell for the sales tricks of a national brand who led me to believe I can get a very goodmprice for my property... I moved to London in November 2020 and had to isolate for 2 weeks. I had to find an apartment in 4 weeks and couldn't quite do a physical viewing the first two weeks. I had the rented a flat in Harrow through the Oyster Properties office in Stanmore. It was my first rental in the UK having recently moved to the country and so was a bit nervous. But they made it very easy for me. My entire experience from viewing to leasing to vacating the flat and eventually release of the deposit was absolutely seamless. I don't recall even a single opportunity to complain. Most of my interactions were with Gemma Groogan and Hemangi Deru, who I found to be extremely professional, courteous, responsive and understanding. Even during the pandemic when I had few queries/ maintenance requests, all were addressed promptly and as best as possible. Gemma was a senzational help with our moving process. We had millions of questions and she was extremely patient and receptive to most of them in prompt time. The property is stunning, we love it so far and it is extremely affordable for what it looks like. Their properties are safe, code locked and very modern, so even when your room is messy, it appears clean. The edgware area where they have multiple properties is a perfect location, with 7 and 10mins walk to jubilee and northern respectively and shops of any kind, a mall, pharmacies, banks, etc.The one slight issue for not giving a 5 star was that we specifically asked for our room to be cleaned before we arrived. We are no close to clean-addicts but the professional cleaning that was done prior to us moving was more for the sake of doing it. There were many compartiments, table tops in the bathroom and corners of the room which had dust and had been ignored by the cleaner. With properties like this when the cleaner only comes to clean the room when someone moves in, the cleaner should do a spotless job, as she only has to come once. We had to reclean everything and that was a bit of a burden as we had not agreed on that. Just because a property is modern does not mean it's actually clean. Lastly, on the instructions sheets, it says that a cleaner comes every 2 weeks to clean the common area but nobody has come since a few months. If you advertise something, you should provide it as well.Otherwise, even though a bit long process with paper work and this cleaning issue, everything else was fine and Oyster staff, especially Gemma, have been very helpful and would recommend to anyone.

This is going to be a slightly longer review than a usual one so to summarise my review- Gemma was absolutely amazing!I was interested in renting an apartment, when I contacted the company I was able to view the property the following day. Gemma was very helpful and provided a lot of knowledge of the area. I have received loads of support as I wanted to ensure I'm not breaching the contract by any matter. In the contract it was mentioned there are no pets allowed unless there is a written permission from the landlord. Therefore I have requested a formal document of the landlord to state my cat is allowed on the premises. Gemma has went out of he way to get the letter for me within two or three days, and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised how smoothly and stress free experience it was for me to deal with this agency. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking to rent or buy a new apartment. The staff were quick to respond to my emails, and they were professional at all times.

Oyster and Manesh dealt with our sale from us giving the instruction to us literally walking out the door on completion day. My own estate agent I feel was not doing enough to encourage my buyers through the process and at one point it felt like things might fall through due to a deadline being missed. We had a good experience with oyster properties in letting our property. Staff were polite and dealt quickly with issues. The only criticism I would have is that a little more attention could have been given to administrative details. Otherwise a good overall service.

I recently sold my flat via Oyster Properties in Arnos Grove. My flat had been on the market since March 2016. However, at the time it was being marketed by an unscrupulous private agent who led me on, didn't even bother placing the property on Rightmove, found a dodgy buyer and ultimately the sale fell through.It was only in March/April this year that a cousin who had worked at the Oyster branch in Arnos Grove put me in touch with Sarju Shah who is one of the directors. From this point there was no turning back.Sarju and his sales manager Manesh Shah got on the case immediately, ensured that the property was visible on all popular platforms, got the viewings rolling and had three concrete offers for me on the table within a matter of days - all for the asking price or thereabouts.However it was not plain sailing as there were some unexpected complications which could have derailed the sale. Here is were I can justify the five star rating - Sarju and Manesh used their experience and knowledge to dissect the issues and find fair solutions, keeping in mind the interest of all parties. Their support has been second to none and I cannot recommend them enough.

"Well, you hear all these horror stories about property sales in England.We had our property on the market for over 1 year.We started out with a London wide based company that claims to be the most modern and highest advertising and they locked us in for 6 months with promises that they would sell our house in weeks! Unfortunately, this proved to be a complete waste of our time as they could not bring enough potential viewers through the door. As we were about to find out is true of most estate agents, they are all mouth and no trousers!So when we were free from this we went multi agency and selected a local agent together with a company that we thought would have the right profile and clients for our unusual property. That turned out even worse with even less viewings. Like the one’s before them, they were extremely good at talking the talk but couldn’t walk the walk!Then Manesh, from Oyster Properties in Arnos Grove, came by and offered his services and as they were the most local agent for us, we thought what can we lose? It can’t be worse than any of the other 5 agents we had tried.Well, their approach was honest and not full of old flannel. They consistently brought along genuine, potential customers over a long period of time and, unlike the other agents, Oyster didn’t give up after the first couple of months.Eventually, through their hard work and commitment, they brought along the buyers for our property.So all good and well you might think? However, things didn’t go smoothly as we had some complications with a restricted covenant. This took 6 month to resolve and had it not been for the expert handling of the situation by Manesh and his colleagues, we are sure that the sale of the property would have fallen through.At every stage through this difficult time, they kept the buyers, the solicitors and ourselves informed and were always available at the end of the phone. I was in the market a while back looking for a property to buy in N11 and, as I used the tube to get to work, I ideally needed something in Arnos Grove or Bounds Green. Decided to register with this company as they were local and I was very happy with the service I received.Rather than seeing everything possible they really wanted to know what i wanted, and organised for me to see what would suit me - meaning i didnt waste time seeing something without a garden (one of my main requirements).I ended up buying my house through someone else but have been back many times and have since bought two investments through them.Would definitely recommend giving them a call if you are looking for an estate agent in the Arnos Grove or N11 area. I learned a lot about the market from them and still pop in now and again to catch up.

Very professional and responsive service! I needed to rent a place urgently in London, so contacted the agency after seing a place online. A lady called Gemma helped me throuout the renting process, making it really smooth and stress-free! She always replied to my emails or calls promply and was very helpful for every issue I have raised regarding the house or contract. We were able to settle-up everything in 2 days. Genuinely professional service from Nick Patel and Gemma Grogan at Oyster Properties Estate agent in Stanmore. I cannot of asked for more from Nick Patel,the manager of Lettings. He explained everything thoroughly in the process of renting my property for the first time. Gemma was really good as well in always keeping me updated with emails regarding my property.
